Depending on the type of health care insurance you have, such treatment may or may not be covered under your plan. Economy healthcare plans, high deductible health insurance plans, HMOs, and PPOs, since their primary driving focus is keeping costs below a maximum per patient average, will often eliminate mental health care coverage.
